Seven Days to Glory:  Holy Week”
Our next 8:45 am Sunday morning class, beginning February 19 and chosen especially for the season of Lent, will be a study of “Holy Week,” the days immediately preceding Jesus’ death and resurrection.  The study was written by Blair Monie, a Presbyterian pastor from Dallas, TX who has also served on the General Assembly Council and is a trustee at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.  In this class, we will walk through Jesus’ experiences and also reflect on what they mean to us as Christians today.  The Lenten study focuses on six chapters from Mark’s gospel, and we will also have the opportunity to compare those passages with parallel scriptures in the other three gospels and, in one case, in Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians.

SATURDAY LENTEN BIBLE STUDY: You are invited to eat breakfast at the Beavercreek Panera Bread with The Rev.Tom Harmon, as he leads a Lenten Bible study on Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 am.  Starting on Sat, Feb 25 and continuing on the five Saturdays in March, we will spend six weeks encountering scripture together.  This is an excellent opportunity for spiritual growth during the season of Lent.  Please let Tom know if you’re interested in participating.  Why not invite a friend?
