Opportunities for Fellowship...
Golf Anyone? – We’re Getting back to our Scottish Roots
Monday mornings at local courses
While this group may not hit the ball well, they sure have a lot of fun doing it. Every Monday morning, we have a group of members and friends get together at a local golf course to play either 9 or 18 holes and have a lot of fun in fellowship as the body of Christ. All players and skill levels welcome. Please call the church office to sign up.
Women’s Circles
A Circle is a group of women who meet for fellowship, Bible study and service. Members meet and greet each other, catch up with each other's lives, and enjoy yummy snacks.
The Faith Circle currently meets the second Wednesday of the month from September through May at 10:00am. We meet in the church Lounge or at each other’s homes if convenient. Our study this year has been the Old Testament written in The Greatest Book Ever Written, the second book of a trilogy by Fulton Oursler. We would welcome any new members -- if interested please contact Bette Malavich at 878-2076.
Koinonia & Felicity Combined Circles meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the lounge for fellowship and Bible study. We started a study of the 23rd Psalm, looking at the promises in that psalm and
using the book, Traveling Light by Max Lucado as a source to encourage discussion.
Ever Been to a Pot Luck?
Please check the calendar
Did you know that a pot luck meal is very representative of the church as the body of Christ? We have a collection of specialty dishes prepared by many people in the congregation to be offered for the literal nourishment of the body of Christ as the church. We usually hold one pot luck meal per month that is usually combined with another event. |
